Shave of the Day: April 8, 2015

Posted on April 8, 2015November 13, 2017 By Drew

Today’s shave was bursting with herbal and grassy smells from beginning to end.  What a great spring SOTD.  The Musgo Real Shaving Cream is incredibly slick, but not the most cushioning shaving cream.  It’s very good, but it’s slickness is definitely better than it’s cushion.  So it’s best paired with a pre-shave oil like I did for additional comfort.  Between the pre-shave, the slickness and the blades, this was a very close, two-pass, DFS shave.  Make sure you check out my recent posts on upcoming reviews and the blade experiment.  I’d love to have more feedback.

As this blog grows (and I grow as a writer), I would like to add a little more structure to the content here and incorporate a little more direction.  With that said, I would like to introduce The Monday Rise.  There is so much focus put on dressing and grooming…

Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shaving Cream Review

Posted on November 13, 2014November 5, 2017

Before I ever started traditional shaving with a safety razor, I did a lot of research.  Probably too much.  That’s how I am about a lot of purchases though.  I look and read, read and look.  Sometimes I wish I was better at just  going with my gut and saving…
