9 White Sneaker Substitutes for the Nike Killshot

9 White Sneaker Substitutes for the Nike Killshot 2

Posted on May 20, 2019May 20, 2019 By Drew

So…you took your time, and now J. Crew is sold out of your size in the new green Nike Killshot 2. Actually, there might be a few pairs left, so heard over and check first. But if you’re like me and missed your chance, don’t worry. There are tons of excellent white sneaker options out there for this upcoming summer.

What do I love about white sneakers so much? Well, while I do have other colored pairs of sneakers, the white sneaker has a certain sense of classic charm. Think JFK in white Sperry Topsiders or a simple pair of Converse Jack Purcell’s. Pair them with a pair of khaki chinos, throw on any shirt, sweater, or sweatshirt you want, and you have the ultimate casual summer outfit. Beach cookout? Check. Your son’s soccer tournament? Check. Sitting on the deck, reading the paper on a lazy Sunday morning? Check.

Also, because they’re white, they go with just about anything (although I don’t typically wear mine with jeans). However, you can wear just about any color chino you wanted, and your white sneakers (Nike Killshot 2s or not) would fit right in. I’m also not a sneakers with suits kind of guy, but if you were going to wear a pair with a suit, I would definitely suggest they be white sneakers.

You may have missed your chance at some new emerald Nike Killshot 2s, but that doesn’t mean you have to skip on a pair of white sneakers this summer. Instead of waiting on the next launch, take a look at these nine white sneakers instead. You may actually find something you like better.

Ok, let’s talk about something most guys don’t discuss with each other.  Underwear.  We all wear it.  We all need it.  So why not include it on a style blog?  There have been quite a few newcomers to the men’s underwear market, and I’d like to take a look at…

OOTD: What I Wore for St. Patrick’s Day

Posted on March 21, 2017November 15, 2017

I had a great St. Patrick’s Day post planned for last week that was completely thrown off by Stella. The kids were home for days on end, and I just wasn’t able to get it pulled together. I probably should have. I’m still struggling with getting out as many posts as I’d like. But I guess this is all part of the writing process. What I can do is take a look at what I wore on St. Patrick’s Day and share that with you.

Five Misconceptions about Men’s Suits

Posted on October 23, 2019October 22, 2019

The number one tool almost all men can stock in their style repertoire is the suit. It’s versatile, flattering, and virtually always appropriate. Unfortunately, I don’t think most men share my opinion. I think for most guys, the suit is intimidating, excessive, and suitable (pun intended) only for weddings and…
