Memorial Day Weekend is upon us. A weekend for swimming, grilling, day drinking, and sales. So many sales. There are a lot of sales this weekend that I could have sorted through, put together some picks, and posted my favorites. But Twillory’s sale caught my eye. If you want to find out why I love my Twillory shirts so much, click here to read my full write up from last summer.
What peaked my interest in Twillory’s sale was the fact that they are having one at all. Twillory will occasionally offer a 2 shirts for $99 promo in addition to their year-round multi-buy discount of 4 shirts for $199. But I haven’t seen any other offers in the past year and a half. Because sales like these are are so infrequent, now is definitely the time to buy. Regardless of whether you’ve been browsing Twillory’s website biding your time to click that purchase button or this is the first time you’ve ever heard of one of my favorite shirtmakers, I highly recommend checking out this sale.
This weekend Twillory is offering three promos even better than their usual special offers. A shirt, a tie, and free collar stays for $85 with the promo code COLLARSTAYS. Two shirts and laundry bag for $99 with the promo code LAUNDRYBAG. Four shirts and tie for $199 with the promo code NECKTIE.
Gingham? Check. Pink? Check. Semi-spread collar? Check. This shirt is a must-have for any wardrobe rotation. Gingham is such a great way to break out of solids. And pink is perfect for pairing with dark suits, slacks, chinos, jeans, whatever. Especially in summer.
I’ll be the first person to admit, this anchor print is a bold choice. It’s a little out of my wheelhouse, but that’s what makes it ideal for summer. Summer is the time for adventure. It’s the time for trying new things. It’s the season for playing your hand a little looser than usual. Summer is the season for this shirt.
Navy ties are so easy. They go with just about anything. White, light blue, pink, yellow, green, lavender. These two ties could be paired with either shirt above for outfits acceptable at the office (pink gingham shirt and wings tie) to something to throw on for that last minute Monaco Grand Prix party (anchor shirt and knit tie).
Regards,
