I went back to a few favorites today. Pairing a relatively mild razor like the Edwin Jagger DE87 with a very smooth blade like the Personna Reds made for an extremely comfortable shave. I experimented the other day with a face scrub and a full against-the-grain shave with a very aggressive razor and a very sharp blade. I wanted to see how close of a shave I could get. Well, obviously I went too close and had to rein it for a few days while my face recovered. I’m happy to report that my face has recovered, and there will be more SOTDs coming.
