How do you break a week-long heat wave? With a ton of menthol, of course. Last week was brutal here. Every day the heat index soared into the 100s. The heat was so oppressive, it was hard to do anything. Even running errands drained me. On top of that both my son and I came down with some sort of summer cold. Probably from going in and out between a thirty degree temperature change. Anyway, I’m feeling much better, and I’m ready to get back into posting content as many days as possible. There’s just one little problem…
School doesn’t start for another two weeks, but our babysitter (who is fantastic!) is also a kindergarten teacher who had to leave us to prep for her upcoming school year. That puts me in charge of most daily activities for the kids until after Labor Day. Looks like a lot of night writing sessions for me.
Now, about this shave. This is a summer shave if ever there was one. Jam-packed with menthol and citrus, this one was so refreshing. And the Juniper Sling is a great fragrance to finish it off. I know summer is winding down, but there are going to be plenty of hot days left to try out this combination.
