Did you ever have one of those days that just stalled from the get-go? I really wanted to get this outfit inspiration out yesterday, but things went off the rails quickly. My son wasn’t feeling well, our house cleaners showed up several hours late, and I just couldn’t seem to get the day started. What I kept trying to remind myself was that I wasn’t dealing with any REAL problems, just a tummy ache and a scheduling mistake. There are many more serious problems in the world today, and if I can remind myself of that, those issues sort of fade away.
I have to say I’m loving these New Balance sneakers from J. Crew. I’ve always been a fan of the canvas Jack Purcells, but the leather is a little nicer and the gum sole is a fantastic touch.
