Weekend-Reading-Fall-Fashion-Cuffed-Trousers-Shaving-Acne

Fall Fashion, Cuffed Trousers, and Shaving with Acne

Posted on October 21, 2017October 20, 2017 By Drew

Oh man, I have a jam-packed Weekend Reading post for you all today. We’ve got three reading lists. (I can never get enough lists about books I should read) there are a couple posts on Shaving with acne. I’ve also included another post on the great debate over whether to cuff your pants or not. And there’s even a GQ article from 1967 that I dug up! Oh ya, and some fly fishing.

Do you think the internet is making all style homogenous?

If you’re going to name something after Friday the 13th, I’m in!

I have always been interested in fly fishing. AoM put together an incredible primer on the subject.

J. Crew coming up huge with this fall classic.

Ready for fall clothes? Barron has a fantastic guide for getting all of your gear ready.

I love this green face.

The cuffing debate rages on.

The perfect boots for fall, and they’re on sale!

Three great articles from Sharpologist on shaving with acne. Why it happens. How to do it. What to use.

How great is this sweater?!

In my search for articles on men’s permanent style, I came across this gem originally run in GQ in 1967, submitted by the great Cary Grant himself.

Sure you maintain your beard, but how are your nails?

I’m not sure which reading list to start digging into first: Ashley’s, Neil’s, or Louis’.

This is a great price for one of my favorite fall shaving soaps and aftershaves!

I love this list!

Weekend Reading

Man, it’s been a rough couple of weeks. Between spring break, Easter, my son’s 4th birthday, a family-wide stomach virus, and a 3-day juice cleanse, I’ve been running on empty for a while. I needed a few weeks to recharge and focus on some jobs around the house. We hung some new art, cleaned off my wife’s desk (it was horrendous!), and cleared out a ton of old kids’ clothes and toys. I feel like I’m finally getting back on track here.

Weekend Reading

It’s been a pretty mild week. I watched a terrible movie. Soap Commander re-opened for business (Congrats!). It rained too much. I think the most exciting thing this week was that insane first lap of the Spanish Grand Prix! But other than that, not too much happened around here. I’m thankful for weeks like these. They’re few and far between, but usually much needed when they do arrive. We’re watching two family dogs this week, so that means five dogs total here, plus two kids, plus two adults. We needed an easy week to manage all that. It looks like this weekend is more of the same, so here’s a few things to get you started on a relaxing few days.

Weekend Reading Another weekend is upon us, and I know I’ll be spending most of my time working in the yard.  The weather is perfect for yard work.  Warm enough to stay outside, cool enough to not overheat.  Hopefully you’re able to get out in the sun too, but if you…
