Blueprint 3-Day Cleanse: Day 2

Posted on April 2, 2016November 14, 2017 By Drew

Blueprint 3-Day Cleanse: Day 2 Blueprint 3-Day Cleanse: Day 2

Ok, so here comes day two of my 3-day Blueprint Foundation cleanse. Don’t forget to ready day one here!

7:00 am

The day starts of strong. I don’t feel hungry, and smells seem strangely strong. I feel good. My wife, on the other hand, might be out. She’s definitely struggling. We’ll see how the day goes.

8:00 am – Juice #1

This juice definitely taste better than yesterday. Like, considerably better. Very strange. Maybe I’m just hungry enough to like it more. Nevertheless, I’m already feeling better about this than I was yesterday. I’m wary to see how it will last, though.

10:00 am

Twenty-minute meditation session followed up for a three mile run. I had a lot more sweat than usual. Blueprint suggests exercise during the cleanse, but I may have pushed it a little too far. By the end of run I was feeling pretty dehydrated.

11:00 am – Juice #2

This one tastes especially good today. The mint has settled out a bit. Between this one and juice number 1, I think something is definitely affecting my tastes and cravings. I honestly don’t feel that hungry.

2:00 pm – Juice #3

My hunger has returned a bit, but it’s not bothering me. That’s a strange sensation. Juice number 3 tastes “greener” than juice number 1 from this morning, or maybe I’m just going insane. All-in-all, I feel good today. I feel healthy and energized. I know it sounds strange and like a bad infomercial, but I swear it’s true. I still really want food, but I’m ok with finishing up today and doing this tomorrow.

4:00 pm – Juice #4

This is definitely my hungriest part of the day. I think it was also the point of my lowest blood sugar, so this juice came at just the right time. I would honestly drink this juice as just a drink. I think it’s that good. I’m struggling a bit right now with crazing food, so I’m sipping this one. Hopefully that helps it last longer. Nope. Gone too soon again.

5:20 pm

I just want to be done. Not because I feel bad. I just miss food. I love eating too much. I love flavors and spice and salt.

6:00 – Juice #5

Getting the kids takeout was a bad idea. I would literally destroy those chicken fingers! One more day (not counting juice number 6). I can do this. I don’t want to, but I will finish.

8:00 – Juice #6

This was just as good as last night. I don’t have any issues with this juice. What a great way to finish the day.

I’m glad tomorrow is the last day. I feel good, but I’m ready to be done.

Tune in tomorrow to see how day 3 fares!

Regards,

Why Restaurants Do the Things They Do

Posted on February 17, 2016November 14, 2017

Why. We spend much more time on “Who?” or “How?” than “Why?”. In reality, asking, “Why?” can lead to the greatest revelations and reduce the most stress. When you understand why something is done, you can then accept and move on or enact change. “Why?” is a decision-forcing question, not…

Dealing with Adversity

Posted on September 18, 2015October 4, 2017

Dealing with Adversity Yesterday I had a meeting that I didn’t want to attend, didn’t go my way, and didn’t leave me feeling particularly well.  In fact, I still haven’t totally shaken the feeling.  We all face situations like this, so, how am I dealing with it? 1. Preparation Life…

How to Compliment a Woman and Not Seem Like a Creep

Posted on April 14, 2016November 14, 2017

Know this. I’m writing this post with nothing but the best of intentions. However, in working on this post, I’ve realized it’s a much more sensitive issue than I had initially imagined. In fact, I feel like I can’t even bring the subject up without feeling uncomfortable.
