You know what I’m not a fan of? Spending money just to say, “I got a good deal” on something I didn’t actually need or even want. You know what I’m a huge fan of? Taking advantage of a sale or promotion to get an exception value on something I truly needed or wanted. That’s how I view Black Friday sales.
Aside from the chance to get my holiday shopping done early and for potentially less money, I view Black Friday as a chance to fill my only gift wish list from some of my favorite brands. I’m sure you’re going to find a lot of sales lists out there this weekend. One thing I try to do that is a little different is not chase clicks. I only include brands I actually like and have shopped with before. You can trust that if you like my style, you will like these brands.
(Please keep in mind that by purchasing through my affiliate links, I may earn a small commission. This does not affect your costs. It only allows me to keep this blog running. Thank you in advance!)
Black Friday Clothing Sales
Spier & Mackay: 20% Sitewide. This is one of my favorite brands. I love the value at full price let alone a 20% discount! Next on my wishlist is this full canvas Prince of Wales suit and this duffle coat.
Ralph Lauren: 40% off when you spend $125. I love this because it’s a pretty minimal threshold for a pretty deep discount. Might be the perfect time for me to grab these jeans and this cashmere sweater.
Brooks Brothers: 25% off (just about) everything. You know how much I love this store, and you know how great a job I think Michael Bastian is doing. I really love the direction Brooks is headed. And yes, the suit everyone loved on Instagram is included.
J. Crew: 40% off with the code SHOPEARLY. J. Crew will always be a home for go-to basics like t-shirts and jeans.
The Rake: Up to 50% off. You can find some real gems here with a little searching. Like this raglan raincoat.
Todd Snyder: 25% off sitewide with the code BLACKFRIDAY25. There are some exclusions, like the amazing J. Press collab. But a lot isn’t excluded, like this denim chore coat and this automatic Timex watch.
Levi’s: 40% off with free shipping and returns. The G.O.A.T. of denim does it right. Buy it, ship it, try it, return it. Online shopping without any stress. And you can never go wrong with a classic.
Lacoste: 40% off the entire store. There has never been a better time to pick up my favorite polos.
Mack Weldon: Tiered discounts based on spending. These guys make the best underwear. Read my full post here.
Pete & Harry: 50% off 1,000+ items. This vintage and pre-owned curated shop based in Sweden has some incredible finds. Sometimes you need to dig a little, but their sorting tools make that relatively easy. I’m eyeing up this Loden overcoat.
Sid Mashburn: Spend $300 get $50 off, spend $500 get $100 off. I’m relatively new to Sid Mashburn, but everything I’ve ordered from that has been fantastic. I love both the quality and the style. And pay attention to their sizing information, it’s incredibly detailed and accurate.
Black Friday Shoe Sales
Cheaney Shoes: Up to £125 off selected styles. These are traditional English shoes made in Northampton, England. They are made extremely well and will last years.
Beckett Simonon: 2 pairs of shoes for $298. I’m a huge fan of Beckett Simonon. They take care of the environment, they treat their employees well, and they make excellent shoes with a low price tag. If you’re buying nicer shoes for the first time, you need a pair of black cap toe Oxfords and a pair of brown loafers. That should get you started.
TLB Mallorca: Free matching belt, free matching Saphir Pate de Luxe Medaille d’Or polish, free global shipping. TLB Mallorca is already an open of the best values in men’s shoes. This deal takes them to an ungodly level.
Carmina: Free matching belt. Carmina, is another amazing shoemaker. I already have a few pairs from them that I highly recommend: These semi-brogue Oxfords and these suede Derbies.
Allen Edmonds: 25% of almost everything. One of the premier US shoe brands, AE has been making shoes for American men for almost a century. The McCallister is my favorite.
Pediwear: Up to 30% off. Pediwear is a British online shoe store carrying multiple brands, and they usually have better prices than the brand sites themselves. Including Tricker’s, Carmina, and TLB Mallorca.
Black Friday Grooming Sales
Geologie: 70% off Custom Trial Sets, 25% off all products. I’ve been working with Geologie for a few months now, and their skincare products are fantastic. I highly recommend doing a custom trial. Read my full write-up here.
Kiehl’s: A classic skincare and beauty company focusing on clean ingredients. This clay mask is one of my all-time favorites.
West Coast Shaving: 20% all products, 40% off WCS products. These guys always have my shaving products in stock. My tried and true is always DR Harris.
Fine Accoutrements: 30% off storewide. I’ve been using Mr. Fine shaving products for years now, and they’re some of my favorites. The aftershaves use simple, clean ingredients and have that nice menthol kick I’m looking for.
Truefitt & Hill: 15% off with the code BF2021. Look, if it’s good enough for Cary Grant, it’s good enough more me. My personal favorite line is the Grafton.
Black Friday Accessories Sales
Ray-Ban: Up to 50% off. One of the most iconic eyewear brands of all time. I stick with the ones that fit my face: The Wayfarer and The Caravan.
Persol: Up to 50% off. Perhaps you like your sunglasses with a little more of a fashion flair. Try the 714s that Steve McQueen used to wear. They fold up and look amazing.
Auburn Jewelry: 25% off sitewide with the code BF25. Sam has been a friend of the blog for years. Her custom enamel jewelry makes the perfect gift, even to yourself. I have a pair of her cufflinks and I love them.
Preston Konrad Home: 20% off purchase and free shipping. You know what guys need more of? Candles. I’m not talking Yankee Candle, I mean real candles with nice scents. Scents that make dates think you’re sophisticated and stylish when they come over. PKH has some amazing one. I have the Upstate and the Winterwatch candles.
Barnes & Noble: 50% off Criterion Collection movies. I love the Criterion Collection, and I won’t pass up a chance to score some amazing films for half off.
Shibumi-Firenze: 20% off on all orders over €200 with code: BF20, 30% off on all orders over 500€ with code: BF30. These are some of my favorite ties and pocket squares out there right now. The fabrics are incredible, the construction is high quality, and the sizes are not too skinny or wide. If you haven’t tried a Shibumi-Firenze tie before, now is a good time to.
Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is great blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
Thanks! Maybe I should write a book!
